What is it?
Quill.org provides free writing and grammar activities for elementary, middle, and high school students. Quill grammar activities are designed to be completed in 10 minutes, so there is a lot of flexibility in how you use them. For example, the sentence combining activity asks students to combine multiple ideas into a single sentence. They then receive instant feedback designed to help them improve their clarity and precision in writing.

Do you need an account?
No. Both teachers and students can access the activity directly via the content library preview or in the student assignment. When a student completes the activity they will see a results screen.

Teaching Tip: Quill can be used in many ways, it is a great homework assignment, station activity, or small group instruction tool to build the grammar and language skills necessary for more in depth writing assignments. We are not fully integrated with Quill.org yet, but if you want to see your students results you can teach them how to take a screenshot on their device and submit it with their assignment.
