Does Kiddom Support Social Emotional Learning?
Great educators teach the whole child, preparing students for college and careers, healthy adult relationships, and developing strong, positive identities. Students’ abilities to manage their emotions, overcome challenges, and develop social relationships impact their academic achievement and overall wellness. So, how can schools meet the developmental and learning needs of all students? At Kiddom, we believe Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the key.
We’re proud to offer our educators SEL competencies provided by CASEL, the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. We also encourage teachers to write their own SEL competencies on our platform. On Kiddom, teachers may write and track custom standards to enhance CASEL’s competencies or add character (or behavioral) traits as custom standards.
