How Do I Modify My Class Settings?

Kiddom gives you the flexibility to customize your classroom. We know each school, teacher, and classroom have their own unique styles. You can:

• Add additional grades and/or subjects to a class
• Modify grading methodologies
• Add/remove students
• Add/remove assignment types
• Add/remove collaborators

Note: Schools rostered through an integration system, such as Clever or Classlink, will not be able to edit most class settings.

This article will discuss how to modify some of the class settings, such as the class name, subjects, grade levels, and grading methodologies. For information on additional settings that can be adjusted, use the links in the list above.

Class Settings

To access your class settings, navigate to the class you wish to edit and click on the Settings tab in the left menu.

This menu will allow you to modify the name of the class, the class subjects, the grade levels, and create a description for the class. You can also modify your Default Assignment Attributes within this menu, which affect the default settings applied to your assignments, so you can control when and how assignments are assigned. These settings include:

• Due Date and Time: Assign Immediately or Assign on a Specific Day/Time
• Whether the assignment is Locked or Unlocked
