What Rostering Options Are Available?
There are different ways to roster students in Kiddom: self-service rostering, assisted rostering and rostering through third-party integration with an SIS provider.
The rostering method that you choose depends on how many student accounts you need to add and whether your school or district is using a third-party SIS provider. If you are adding 50 or less student accounts, we recommend that you use self-service rostering. If you are adding 100 or more student accounts, we recommend that you use assisted rostering. If you are using a SIS provider, we recommend that you follow the third-party integration instructions to sync data from your SIS provider.
Self-Service Rostering
With an administrator account, you can do a bulk upload or individual uploads for your school. Check out this article for additional details.
Assisted Rostering
You can prepare your data files using specific roster templates and then provide the files to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to upload.
For large implementations of 100+ students, using roster templates to add organizations, groups, students, and users is the best solution. These templates are populated by the school or district from a SIS export. Once the file is available, you should send it over to your Customer Success Manager.
Third-Party Integration
You can integrate with an SIS provider using a third-party service to load and sync roster data. For more information on the rostering and integrations services we provide, please click here.
