How to Preview an Activity

As a teacher, you may want to preview an assignment before giving it to students. Kiddom provides an easy method to do just that.

Preview Mode

At the top of any assignment in Kiddom there is an eyeball icon. If an assignment contains student-facing content, clicking on this icon will open a new window showing the Preview Mode of an activity. This mode allows you to see the activity but does not have full functionality: it will not save or allow you to submit, and embedded elements, like applets, are not fully usable (however, students will have full functionality of the applets when the assignment is assigned to them as the applets are optimized for the student experience).

This is especially useful when personalizing lessons to ensure that your changes are reflected accurately in the activity.
